Meet Anh Vo, 2012 APAWLI Fellow
Anh Vo is a 2012 APAWLI fellow. She is a wife, sister, dance mom, foodie, world traveler and proud State Farm® employee. Her parents, who emigrated from Vietnam, instilled in her a strong work ethic, sense of loyalty, and drive for continuous improvement. She views leadership as a privilege and is humbled by the many opportunities afforded along her journey. She is committed to creating an environment of transparency and trust and believes in healthy conflict and dialogue. While still a “work in progress,” Anh strives to be a role model and is passionate about making a difference.
Anh recently celebrated her 20th State Farm Anniversary and credits the APAWLI fellowship program in helping her achieve success. The experience made a significant impact in helping her become “comfortable in her own skin.” As an Auto Operations Manager, she leads an underwriting division. She also serves as co-leader for the AsiaNET Employee Resource Group. To feed her creative soul, Anh started a personal blog, fakeittilumakeit.net. She also launched her business as an independent cabi stylist which fuels her passion for helping women look and feel their best.
Anh is an avid reader and belongs to two book clubs.She also focuses on improving her speaking through her involvement in Toastmasters.When not at work, you can find Anh, her husband Hai, and two beautiful daughters, Madeleine and Kenzie traveling the world, trying new restaurants or at a dance competition.
